Mess-ozoic
A downloadable game for Windows
Mess-ozoic is a 1st person puzzle-adventure that allows the player to collect fossils and build customized dinosaur skeletons! Explore, meet critters, traverse obstacles, run from danger - and dabble in a little necromancy - to uncover a prehistoric world and build your outlandish creations!
Enjoy this charmingly stylized adventure that takes inspiration from The Talos Principle or the korok and shrine puzzles in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
What lies ahead?
The Necromancer - I mean museum curator - has a job for you. She needs a skeleton army - ah, exhibit - and you need to build it. You were kicked out of The Paleontologist Society for your creative theories on dinosaur reconstruction, so you're the perfect fit.
So, acquaint yourself with and get lost within the beautifully crafted desert canyon environment in Mess-ozoic. The expansive, unsupervised, and easy-to-break-into fossil excavation site of The Paleontologist Society lies before you, and your job is to get in, get past their puzzly obstacles, and dig up their fossils.
Solve puzzles, interact with the wildlife, and dig up those bones!
There's 17 unique fossil parts to uncover and collect! Enjoy the mostly-accurate but charmingly and artistically interpreted dinosaur skulls, torsos, legs, forelegs, and tails from your favorite species! Mix and match your bones and reconstruct your dinosaurs in all the wrong ways!
Along your way, encounter interactible critters and discover a few secrets! Use your trusty shovel to bonk and scoop your way through challenges! Enjoy logic puzzles, environment obstalces, platforming, bit of golfing, and more!
Assemble all sorts of different and bizarre skeletons!
It's time to see what kinds of speculative abominations you can create!
-How to Play-
